Christmas recap

Christmas this year was wonderful! We spent it in Idaho with my family, we couldn't have asked for a better 9 day holiday vacation. We spent lots of time with family, extended family, there are tons of kids in my family so it was usually always a bit chaotic. In between those times of fun, we got to relax, take a nap here and there (so nice to have baby sitters, Grandma and Grandpa are the best!) It snowed a ton that week, so we played a lot in the snow quite a bit! We got to drive the razor in my parents back yard while pulling the kids on the sled, that was so fun! Zoee had a blast doing that, she was practically an ice cube when she decided to go inside. 

Heres a family picture we took after church. I was determined to get one and thankful every one was good sports about it. It was freezing!

Above pic: The Annual Ukraine/Russian party with have with our friends. We eat borche, have yummy drinks with mixers, and talk about stories of Ukraine which is where Tyler and Austin both served. Its a fun night! 

 For some odd reason I really like this picture.. Candide pics are sometimes nice.

 I will treasure this photo.. even if Navy was being grumpy.. this is the girls with their Great Great Grandma Louise! We love her very much, and are so grateful she is here in our lives. 

One of the most fun things we did while in Idaho was a gift from my parents. They surprised us a night out without our kids, to spend together as spouses and siblings at Mountain River Ranch in Ririe! It was such a fun time to spend together, so many laughs, great food, sleigh rides with beautiful horses that took us a couple miles where we ate dinner in a cool barn! Dinner tasted amaaing. There was live entertainment and a lot of singing. Thanks Mom and Dad, couldn't have asked for a better gift!

 Oh my goodness here is the cutest baby boy you'll ever see! Little Oliver finally got to some visit all the family in Idaho from South Carolina. He was born in August, I had been dying to meet him, im so glad Ty and Sheen could come to Christmas! I loved holding Ollie, I only wish we lived closer cause this aunty misses her sweet nephew.

 Christmas morning!! We spent the night at my sister Katie's, and it was a blast! The kids did the nativity play, we all opened one gift from each other, ate a yummy dinner, got to visit a lot, and went to bed! Actually, some of us, myself included, could not sleep...it was too exciting thinking about the kids opening their presents the next morning! I guess the kids in all of us never really goes away. 

 We got to skype with Uncle Brad who is serving a mission in Texas!

I think we woke up around 6:30.

 Here is a lot of my family, definitely not close to all of it, but its nice to get a pic of the big group together! This night was a party, the ones who were there will have that night of wildness burned into their memory...so dang funny!

 See what I mean by magical? Everything was frosted, it felt like we were in another land!

 Anabelle, Zoee and Navy had so much fun together!! They get a lot great most the time, they sure love each other!!

All in all it was a fantastic Christmas Break! Im SO grateful for family and the spirit of Christmas, and how it brings us all togeher!
